Watertown Urban Mission
The Watertown Urban Mission works with nearby churches and organizations to help struggling citizens in Jefferson County.
We have a vital relationship with the Watertown Urban Mission. In addition to collaborating in the events below, our members routinely volunteer to sort donations.
Food Drive
The Urban Mission is always looking for help stocking their food pantry. There are a variety of items that are always welcome, and they can be placed in the baskets in Fellowship Hall.
Clothing Drive
Food isn’t the only thing people need! We also collect clothing such as new or gently used coats and jackets to donate to the Urban Mission.
In winter, this includes hats and mittens, which we use to decorate our mitten tree!
Bread Basket
On the first Sunday of each month as we celebrate Communion, we encourage the congregation to bring a loaf of bread, which is tagged as a gift from us, and donated to the Urban Mission food pantry.
